Why are we not seeing white men die like George Floyd??? Last time I check, white men resist arrest, fight police, and commit crimes against the police but I have never saw one of them die on Camera from being choked to death. Interesting you think????
Depending on the stats you want to use there were twice as many unarmed whites killed In 2019 vs blacks. In 2019 over 56 unarmed Americans were killed by police.....20 some odd were black....from US News and World Report
quote:
MORE THAN 1,000 UNARMED people died as a result of police harm between 2013 and 2019, according to data from Mapping Police Violence. About a third of them were black. About 17% of the black people who died as a result of police harm were unarmed, a larger share than any other racial group and about 1.3 times more than the average of 13%.
So yes there’s a slightly higher disproportionate number of black folks being killed by law enforcement but it’s not open season on black Americans. Your chance of being killed by a police officer is less than being hit by lightning friend.

Huge fallacy here. Overall population is irrelevant. The cops aren't lining everyone up and shooting eery nth person based on a random number generator. The cops are killing people during interactions due to suspected illegal activity. Illegal activity is very important and considering blacks commit ~50% of the crime even though they only account for 13% of the population you would assume a bias based on police interactions. These studies have continually found either no bias based on race or even potentially a small bias against whites (whites being killed at higher rate).
