Pretty disturbing how much of that movie is true.

I didn't realize Lin Wood also represented Richard Jewell in addition to Watson. In case you don't venture onto the poliboard, Lin Wood also represented Sandman aka "native america drum in his face" and now Rittenhouse.

Didn't realize the woman reporter who broke the story the FBI was investigating Jewell basically OD'd in 2001 right before 911 because she was so distraught over the whole thing.

What a fricked up move by the FBI to pin the blame when they knew almost from the beginning it wasn't him. Can't believe the shite they tried to pull on Jewell.

Also Nadya still works for Lin Wood.

What the media did to that man is unconscionable. I get angry just thinking about it.

I can't believe that journalist screwed an FBI agent to get info. What a POS.

What's funny (or not) is how they were so dead set on Jewell being the guy, that they overlooked simple math. Any first year investigator would have realized that he couldn't have dropped the bag and had time to call 911 and then get back in time when the bomb exploded. But he was a weird, overweight, gun loving mama's boy, so they and the media crucified him.

Also disturbing how much of it isn't true. Hauser was good. No other good things to say about this one.

The image of the honest G-man has taken a hit recently.

This leads credence to some belief that there was a rush to judgment on Wayne Williams (although I don't believe that - I'm convinced Williams did most of the Atlanta child murders for a whole host of reasons) - it's not without precedence in that area.

The FBI and the Justice Dept under Louis Freeh and Janet Reno was a mess in the 90’s.

Unfortunately, both might be more corrupt and incompetent these days.

Hadn't seen it yet, but remember that this was the state of the media 24 years ago.

And it's only gotten worse. Far worse.

Meh.Kathy Scruggs had a severe drug problem. What happened to her was probably inevitable.

The Netflix Jewell was all over the board with their timeline. He was already exonerated and wasn't a suspect with the abortion clinic bombing and the whole militia "supporting" Eric Rudolph in NC was pretty much all fiction.

Both were well done but the Netflix version took loads of liberties.

I recommend watching Manhunt Deadly Games on Netflix. It is about the hunt for the actual Olympic bomber, but also includes Jewels story.

The manhunt first season about the Unabomber was good as well.

He saved a lot of lives. Atlanta should have a statue of him in Olympic park.
