Do military Brats count? 18 years US Air Force.
Before he passed I asked, "Why did you vote Democrat all your life?"
"Because every time a Democrat became President, I got a pay raise."
"That train left the station long ago. Never mind, you raised three boys that are die hard Conservatives ....Our votes cancel you votes out now."
He long believed that politicians should never run wars. "They get us into the mess ... get the hell out the way and let us do what we were created for ....Kill and break things."
