I heard an interview with one of the boat owners that showed he had a sense of humor. He said that he had so many flags, he couldn’t see and then people started yelling about “Port and starboard and other nautical words I didn’t understand.” He also said he wanted to go down with the ship but rescuers insisted on helping him.
The boat was named Margaritaville.
