That'll be a nice clean, efficient day. I'm curious why these percentages. One of my great sins in life is that I love to read the comments, and from reading the comments on his post I see people referencing Strong Lifts 5x5 as the inspiration behind the program for 10/16. Ive heard about this of course, but never read about it in detail. I couldnt find any details online about what percentages are used for 5x5. Does anyone have experience with this? I always assumed they were flat sets.
Im curious why the first set is 67%, then jumps 6% to 73% and thereafter increases by 2% for set #3 and set #4, and the 4th and 5th sets are identical. I like the little jumps, but my OCD would prefer them to all be equal, e.g. 5% up every set.

StrongLifts is flat sets across and a basic linear progression, not % based so anyone saying that is a newbie and just assumes all 5x5 is “StrongLifts” based which is frankly retarded
I’ll have to check percentages of Madcow and Texas method tomorrow to see if they match, but Aaron uses those percentages and ones just like them all through his programs. For squats, deads and bench
