This is my first time doing Squatober, or anything like this, so I didn't know what to expect of myself. I've read this entire thread so I know what other people have done on these pressure cooker days. I put my sights on 10 sets of 420lbs because it sounded nice and didn't seem too unrealistic.
Well, I got my 10!
Around set 5 I started to think, "Maybe 8 is more realistic?"
Perhaps it was pride that allowed me to squeeze the last 2 sets out. Unracked set 1 on the beep, dropped set 10 in the hooks right on the beep, so I made full use of my time.
I upped my TM on bench press to 95%, last week it was 90% and it was under-cooked. Tonight's 265lbs x 5 x 5....still felt a little on the light side of things, but I made up for it by shelling myself with the cardio. Only got 5 rounds with a 40lb monster band for press downs and 42lbs on an EZ curl bar. Press downs were not that bad, the curls killed me. I'll have alligator arms for weeks now.
This was the hardest day so far...by a lot.

Gonna go to the store and get some interesting cheese for my bacon and egg sandwiches. I'm thinking a Gouda or Swiss, maybe Muenster....
