don’t hurt yourself with those mental gymnastics. Nash is cool with his zero experience but apparently woman’s basketball provides zero substantive experience for men’s basketball.

Weird how the stuff you use in coaching men’s basketball pretty easily translates when coaching a girls team.

Weird also how Derick Fisher went over to the WNBA and got to the semifinals his first season and tied for the second best record this season. Almost like experience does in fact translate across leagues.

I’m not sure this proves what you think it does.

That is correct. That's like saying you were a mall cop for 10 years and you just spent a month training with army rangers so you're ready to go out in the field with the rangers now.
It's almost a detriment b/c what she was used to doing her whole life as a basketball player, is nothing like what men do as a basketball player. She's been doing it the slow inefficient way her whole life, and now she's learning there's a better way to do almost everything. Be faster, more athletic, and stronger.

It doesn't. women aren't men. You don't coach them the same way.

I have no idea what this was supposed to prove.
He took over a team that has won 2 of the last 3 titles, and was swept in the semifinals.
I guess Larry Coker is a good coach since he won a national title with Miami that one year
