It seems that many of you are under the impression that cyclists get on the road just to piss other people off, which is not the case in most instances. I don't know about this guy specifically, but I wear cycling shorts to ride because my seat makes my arse hurt. I wear compression shirts and socks because they are comfortable. I probably look like I'm in a racing suit or some shite, but really I'm just trying to get where I am going. If that means I need to ride on a busy road at 5PM, that's where I'm going. My mode of transportation is no less valid than anyone else's, and that doesn't give anyone the right to run someone off the road. Like I said before, when I have a close call with a motorist, it just prompts me to ride more and more in the middle of the road for my own safety.

But if it was illegal to do it, would you still do it?
If it was illegal to ride a bike on the same lanes that cars, trucks, 18 wheelers drive on, would you do it?
Heres another analogy:
If all drugs were legal - would you start shooting heroin? Its fricking legal. Its your right to do with your body what you please.
Its your body.

You go exercise your rights. While you’re at it you need to pre-pay for your headstone that says “What I was doing was within my rights!”
Basically you’re a fool to ride a bike on a busy road. Half the people that are on the road are texting and drifting all over the lane. But you exercise your rights. Remember that as you are being loaded onto a stretcher and praying to God you make it to a hospital alive.

You keep spouting how legal it is for a cyclist to use the road. But they are required to share the fricking lane.
You doing that shite proves you don’t give a frick about the law and only care about what YOU want to do
