Not that you're wrong about the statistics, but if a lot of y'all would get your asses out of your car and use a bike periodically, the entire state would be much better off.
Riding a bike is more efficient and better for literally everybody on the planet than driving a car. The fact that some people on this forum think that it isn't feasible for people to ride their bikes 15 miles to their workplace is a serious issue. And I'm not talking about disabled folks. I'm talking about the people who insist on driving their 12 mpg tanks of vehicles to their workplace down the road. It's plain stupid and you look like an idiot.

You aren’t lying brother. I rode my bike to work this morning. 12 miles and no problems at all besides that it was a tad humid so I drank both my gallons of water by the 6 mile mark. As soon as I got to work and showered and ironed my suit that was rolled up in my backpack I felt great.
Ran into a snag on the way home though. The office washer and dryer were down for maintenance and my riding gear from this morning made me throw up when I pulled it out of the ziplock so I had to ride home in my suit. I’m at a Racetrack right now drinking a 64 oz Powerade and feeling this great breeze though. Just enjoying life.
