We hear all this talk all the time about LSU's deadly even year schedule. Often times, the commentator suggests that LSU has virtually no chance at a championship in an even year when they have to go to Auburn and to Gainesville.

Well, if LSU automatically can't win the west this year, then UGA should get zero votes to win the east.

at Auburn
at Florida (quasi-neutral site)
at LSU

and throw in at S. Carolina and at Arizona St for good measure.

Why doesn't the same "treacherous schedule" argument apply to the Dawgs?

I have heard numerous people/reports, etc. say that UGA will not go to Miami this year because of their schedule.

I think if RP had stayed on the team ,LSU would have been picked for the West. IMO,the 'Georgia Express' from the Spring has lost some momentum.

From what I've been reading it does apply. Although they may have the best talent in the SEC this year, the schedule will kill them.

That's why more publications are picking Florida to win the East & the SEC.

florida has the most talent in the sec. Lsu has at least equal talent to georgia. I don't know why people keep saying they are the most talented.

I don't see why LSU can't win the west this year. If we can get in the title game in Atlanta then we can possibly win the SEC in a 1 game situation
