And, IMO, those players are being ridiculous. First, what Orgeron said was about as benign a comment as possible. He was asked directly what he thought about Trump giving him compliments and that Trump supported playing football this year. Orgeron said what's akin to "coach speak." He would have said the same damn thing regardless of who was in office because it's the classy thing to do. But regardless of all that, let's say he does support Domlad Trump and will be voting for him. It is an indictment on society, not Orgeron, that someone supporting not just a political candidate but a sitting US president is considered insensitive. That's complete horseshite and anyone truly offended by someone voting for a certain candidate has some issues they need to reconcile. And if Trump wins (again), does that mean the majority of our country is wrong or does it mean maybe just maybe the sky screamers need to do some self reflection.
Several things wrong with your statement.
First off, it’s well within these players rights to not want to play for someone who supports a political candidate they themselves do not support.
Secondly. Trump didn’t actually win the majority of votes the first time, so he in fact was NOT the majority of the populations choice. (Don’t give me any conspiracy theory nonsense about illegals voting or fraudulent voting because Trumps own investigation into it found nothing. To the point that his own party was telling him to shut up about “fraudulent voting” because it just doesn’t exist in any significant numbers).

Absolutely, but in the real world that makes it hard to function. If you go around all your life avoiding folks who may disagree with you politically or on socially, IMHO you are being week-minded and shallow. Frickin Gundy can't even wear a t-shirt without damn near getting fired. That's pathetic.
