I have a 2011 with 165k and I used a diablo sport trinity to disable the v4 thing around 100k. I didn’t notice the lifters knocking or anything like that, I had several friends with a similar truck and all of them dropped lifters between 80-120k so I thought I’d be next. I’m not sure if it did anything because the lifters still move unless you get a different cam but it helped me sleep.

I have an 2011 with 160k and I did a full DOD delete any decent mechanic says to do it automatically after warranty runs out. Diablo is a good brand I'd go ahead and just have a mech do the full DOD delete mine was just south of $600. If anything he should be more concerned with the tranny going down. Had to have mine rebuilt at 145k and that was like $3600. That one hurt!
