Government has improved greatly over the last ten years. However, many of these places will unfortunately shut down in the near future. I cannot see red stick social making it. Great concept with bad luck. Elsie’s will be fine. Radio bar will likely survive. Superior has been there forever and will survive. A few other places may make it. Why? White Star market died mostly because the successful vendors left to move to thier own solo locations then Covid hit. . It was always crowded. No reason to think it won't come back.

Government St restaurant scene was booming prior to Covid and will after Covid. No greater effect than anywhere in the City, maybe less due to the built in yuppie/hipster population ( capital heights etc.).
Have you been to the Beer Garden? It's always crowded.

Have you driven Mid City Government Street since the changes? It's working very well.

Once they get the landscaping in it will look great too.
