This is false.
I had $25k on the line on election night 2016 and as late as 7PM central time I was down about $15k because the exit polls were so ugly and Sean Trende at RCP literally tweeted "it's going to be an early night". I ALMOST sold most of my shares. Thank God I did not, because it turned into an over $40k windfall within 3 hours. Still a top 3 night of my life.
