Ebay has been my go to in the past. Bigger selection and you can pay more for cleaner or better taken care of games if you want. Thrift stores and garage sales are going to get you really good deals though if you have the patience, and it's generally more fun.
I got away from it all for the most part though. It's just too much of a hassle and I'm not a stickler for the original hardware like enthusiasts and speedrunners are. I'm not going to sell or get rid of my stuff or anything, but I just run an emulator when I want to play something old.
