And again this isn't a huge indictment, just more of a statement of what happened.

We misjudged him. From what we've seen this season, he certainly gets minutes and is at worse, the 3rd big behind Zion/Favors. Given Zion's limited availability and even Favors missing a couple of weeks, Wood could have potentially led all bigs in total minutes played this season if he's the 3rd guy behind Zion/Favors.

Don’t understand the downvote because that’s 100% accurate.

Especially with Jaxson “I haven’t struggled defensively” Hayes.

Based on hindsight, sure. But Wood did not have that information to base his decision on before the season.
