He created an account in 2021 and makes first post in 2023 in here to tell his story about meeting his future wife back in 1982 and taking her to this country bar. Then he bumped the thread a year later to tell it again.

Agreed. Heck of a bump. Was going to post my own Mudbugs story from ages ago, but decided to let the other posts enjoy their time and place.

I did the one rave at Pure Country. The owners got Harry Lee to "sign off" on it, but he fricked us and put a road block on a public road to search every car coming in. Then the undercover police were searching people inside while they were at the bar ordering drinks. In hindsight, none of the searches were legal. Pure Country got around 50 tickets that night from TABC and the Board of Health. I think the business was already teetering on the brink, but they didn't make it much longer after that.
