COVID had already hit NY hard before then.

For over 100 years we have known that mask help prevent the spread of respiratory disease, it is so well known that the prototypical image of a doctor is one of them wearing a mask and gloves to help prevent the spread of disease.
Yet for some reason it has become a political issue in 2020.

How many Doctors and Nurses did you see walking the freaking streets wearing a mask before the Chinese Flu. I guess we should all walk around in scrubs too.
