Yep. Unless I missed something in the three times I've watched the entire series. Even the Inuits, though we have a healthy population of them in Alaska and parts of Canada, are basically as Asian as you can get.
Claiming ATLA would be "woke" if they cast Asian actors for a live action show would be like claiming Anne of Green Gables is "woke" for casting white people.
I am sorry to hear the creative minds behind the cartoon won't be working on the show. I have real doubts about someone else pulling this off and not having it be a complete disaster.
