We mock Aggy a whole lot, for good reason, but the reality is they are far more like an SEC program, than they are like a Big XII program. Some of their traditions are silly, some of their chants are silly, but that could be said about the Grove, cowbells, Tiger Bait, Toomer's Corner, etc.
A&M has a personality, unlike the rest of the Big XII (except for maybe UT and OU).

I'm going to respectfully disagree. I am married to an Aggie. We started dating in the last two years the Aggies were in the Big 12. Aggie is not like the SEC or the Big 12. They are there own, weird thing. I will say that I noticed a drastic change in attire of the coeds on campus when the change to the SEC happened. They went from t-shirts and jerseys to sundresses.
