Nebraska is having an issue with coming to terms with who they are now

I think there is a lot of truth here.

As I said before, Nebraska to the B1G was truly bizarre. They don't fit in at all.

Nebraska, Iowa, and Northwestern are the three smallest schools in the B1G. And it's not even close... Nebraska and Northwestern are in the 20s, Iowa in the 30s, everyone else in the 40s or more (enrollment).

Northwestern serves the same role in the B1G that Vandy does in the SEC. Iowa is a weird fit as well but they have been there for 120 plus years.

Nebraska fits in the Big XII more than the B1G, but honestly, they don't fit really well in either, anymore. Nebraska will hate to hear this, but truthfully, they are more aligned with the MWC.

Absolutely right. Also no one wants to hear this now but being a member of a conference is about a lot more than football. Changing conferences won't help Nebraska in any way, the B1G is a bad fit but an amazing deal for Nebraska. Anything else on the table will hurt Nebraska in the long run.
