Yes, I've heard of the Chiefs. I live in the North East. There isn't a huge appetite for college football outside of Penn State. But huge viewership for pro football. NFL fandom does not automatically mean college football fandom, and vice versa.
I was asking a legitimate question about why Missouri was brought in to the SEC in the first place. I don't know how TV deals work for colleges.
But compared to LSU's ratings, Mizzou's ratings aren't good. Even compared to common opponents- Ark and Ole Miss, LSU's ratings were better. Even though Kansas City and St Louis are larger than New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

But if a previous poster's comment about getting paid by the subscriber is correct, regardless of if anyone is watching (using the Rutgers example), then I understand.
