Not necessarily saying it’s legally needed but further proof of the level of consent.
Coaches make promises to parents when these kids enter programs. If parents and kids are all on board to consent then I don’t see how it could be argued that an 18yo was taken advantage of by a program because he was still too naive to make an informed decision, etc.
Negligence seems a little far fetched too, considering the great lengths and expenses these programs will go through to protect these kids. Again, I think it would be hard to prove a lot of scenarios that could arise
