Were people not watching shows in the mid 2000’s? Seems like a lot of people on this board and people I know never watched it

I was in high school and college when Lost was airing. An ABC drama series did not rank high on my to-do list at that time.

I remember watching the premiere when it first aired. We had just moved up here from College, and some family was over helping us unpack some things and eating dinner. We had it on in the background. I think we tried to watch it on DVR a few days later, but never really got into it. I was just starting a job, traveling a good bit, and didn't have much time on the weekends because I was busting about 60-70 hours a week working. A couple of years later, we binged the first two seasons and started S3 when it aired. One of those great shows where you can't wait until the next week. I followed some of the internet theories and posts on a few different boards, but the wife did not. We both really enjoyed it, and should probably do a rewatch at some point. It has been long enough that all of the little details will probably seem new.
