Will the NFL play games on Saturday if college football is canceled?

I would hope they take advantage of the situation for the benefit of having something going on Saturday’s. Their ratings would be higher (assuming people are still watching) than they would be with their TNF-Sunday-MNF lineup. The NFL will play until someone like Tom Brady gets COVID, but at least we will have something to watch.

Literally no one on this board could answer that since the NFL would never announce anything until the NCAA/major conferences do

Of course they will - they can do 3 marquee matchups on Saturday and get huge ratings.

Probably not
Sunday afternoon And night are generally a better ratings slot than Saturday afternoon and night

That said doesn’t matter because the ratings are about to tank this season anyway

They shouldn’t play games at all, it would be totally unsafe and reckless. Shut it down
