Miles virtually eliminated the crossing routes after Jarrett Lee's interception and pick 6 fest in 2008 as a freshman. After that he only relaxed it some for Mettenberger and relied upon ball control and defense to in.
It's not like Jennings and Harris flourished in other offenses, Lee couldn't get a contract and JJ only played arena ball for a short time.
Hindsight, Miles probably should've gave Etling #1 reps in summer 2016 over Cam's boy.
