The doctors still have to find an "injury" & if there was no accident, what caused the injury? Back in the 90's, "plaintiff" surgeons were getting $25K a surgery with 3-4-5 surgeries a week on the books. Do the math. The doctors are just as bad as the plaintiff attys. except in many cases they were crippling patients for life. There was an orthopedic surgeon who made millions just by taking an ankle injury up to the knee, then up to the back. 3 major surgeries for the price of one "accident". And as corrupt as NOPD has been over the years, don't think bad cops weren't in on this scheme.
