Well, he did end up marrying a jewish chick, so he seemed to have gotten over it.

But yeah, this series is some kind of retribution for Lovecraft's xenophobic (he decried "Swedes" and Irish etc. as well) screeds.

But again, it doesn't "ruin" anything. It's just a shitty adaptation. It looks destined to fail anyway, like the one-season only "hit" show The Wokemen. Just take satisfaction in that.
