Yeah up around Eminence isn't bad. I'd stay far away from Van Buren and Doniphan on the Current tho. Granted during the week isn't as bad, but the boat traffic is ridiculous. And as stated above, south of the bridge in Van Buren is no motor restrictions. Think big blocks running 60-70mph plus on a fairly narrow river. North of the bridge is a bit more tame with a 40HP restriction but a lot more traffic in that area.

Was fantastic trip so far. Camped at a small free spot on fourche lake. Went down 11 point from riverton to hwy 142. Only saw a few bass boats in the last 1/4 of the trip. May have been on the water too early. Caught a few early but long stretch of nada. Then they were on fire in the last half. Had 5 go over 15" so good day in my mind. Biggest was at 17.5" current is faster than other rivers I have fished. Hook a fish and you better be careful of what obstacles are downstream. Had 2 close encounters to flipping.
