The main thing you (we) need to realize is that Myles will not be able to save the day like Joe. That huge throw to JJ against Georgia, the same kind of scramble against Oklahoma etc.

What we can reasonably expect of Myles is to make good decisions, be consistent with hitting the slants/bread and butter plays, and being able to lead the offense

Those are the best plays. When the other team does everything perfectly and has him dead to rights and he still takes it and turns it into a 50 yard play. Those are the plays that break the confidence of the opponent. Joe didn’t do a lot of those in his first year but he did last year.

I think Brennan will be able to do those if he can achieve a high level of confidence in his abilities like joe had. Brennan isn’t a green freshman anymore. He is entering his 4th year in the program and was in every meeting with burrow and Brady last year. He is chomping at the bit to show he can do it.
