Is LDH refusing to work with parishes on their reporting?

The sheriff also said the state wants parishes to sign basically a NDA to receive the names of the tests.

Honestly there is no reason that should be a problem
I would rather 200 employees checking state names against parish names looking for duplicates than people being paid to call for contact tracing

Would be interesting to see the specifics of the NDA. If it just bars local officials from sharing individuals’ information (which is what LDH says they are concerned about) then I have no issue with it. If, on the other hand, it bars local officials from speaking out about the data.. that’s sketchy.

I don't see a problem with this. I don't want some HS dropout sheriff deputy having access to HIPAA level info.
