All of my family members that work in the medical field have said this from the beginning. Obesity is the biggest risk factor. And they’ve seen it personally.

This isn't really close to being true for COVID. But it is for pretty much everything else.
That said, I agree with this. It is long past time we got a handle on obesity in this country. Do you know how much premiums would go down if we had somewhat normal obesity rates?
