That and the moldings can be trash, and poorly made.
Typically most all "OEM" packs are made with some sort of GF reinforced plastic.
The main issue you see with them is they like to use crappy/cheap/unknown 18650 battery cells. Their numbers are never accurate, and most of these are made/labeled to look like the good stuff.
Most "OEM" packs use the highly regarded Sony VCT4/5s or LG HG2s.
OP I would suggest contacting Ryobi.
I'm sure there is an alternate part number they could provide you if you can not find something to fit.
Or, roll the dice going the aftermarket route.
