It's slowly become my biggest holder, through probably about 5 transactions, one of them at a very high amount that was impulsive and stupid. Luckily, only about 8% was bought at that amount. It balances out that most of my transactions were under $20 share.
I've really become hugely invested in this company (for me, percentage wise, you all would laugh at my amount invested but I'm a broke, middle aged guy learning while i invest.)
I'm watching this closely every day and trying to decide if there is a target amount at which I'd sell. Have any of you set a target amount? How do you go about deciding that? My mind tells me that is a point which it would be smart to sell %25 or so but I have zero clue when that should be. Any advice? Or are we thinking this may hit $50 or higher? Is $35 a good point to pull out a chunk? That's kind of what I'm targeting now. $35 and I'll sell some.
I screwed up on Sasol, it was previously my largest holder. I was in under $5 and it got above $10 and didn't sell, then fell to around $7 where it remained. I feel like that's 'lost money' even though I really still have an almost 50% profit, I don't feel good about it.

Everybody sells for different reasons. Some sell when they need the money, some sell when they think the stock will go down, some sell to buy other stocks, etc. We can’t tell you when to sell, but I’d say it’s a safe bet you’d get that $35 and probably $50 if WKHS gets a majority share of the USPS contract. The hype will probably drive it up, so you could either sell some there, or you just hold long term. If they get the contract then they’ll be on a long term upward trend bc they’ll have huge production and probably get even more contracfs
