While I was there I noticed they have a daily special.

I totally missed that, I guess it was up on the wall menu and not on the to-go menu.

I hope they have success because there was a serious lack of authentic Mexican food that side of Airline.

At first I thought it was a mistake that they were leasing there, I figured the rent on a spot like that right on Sherwood was going to do them in. But they had a ton of customers on their opening day, and it can only get better with word of mouth.

FWIW, there's another taqueria and store like three blocks from there, a bit further down Sherwood. But the last few times I ate there, I felt sick, so I doubt I'll be going back anytime soon.

I'm friends with most of the Mexican restaurant and taqueria owners in town, and had shortly managed one place a very long time ago. I'm not an expert, but I like to share my feedback on different places in town if it gives people some insight on what to expect.

Yes, it was on the wall menu at the extreme right. I took a couple of the menus for the office, and now that you mention it the daily specials are not on the menu. The only other one I remember is that Saturday and Sunday its pozole and menudo.
