JaMarcus was awesome here. Had some inconsistencies but aside from a couple of games (Florida & Auburn in ‘06, Georgia in ‘05) he was generally incredible to watch in 2005-2006 with some of the things he did. I tell people all the time that he’s one of my favorite Tigers, but casual and younger fans definitely let his NFL failures cloud their judgement of his LSU career.
I know he has himself to blame with his NFL career, I just wish he could’ve gone to a more stable franchise. Not saying he would’ve lived up to the hype by any means, but him going to the shite show that was the Oakland Raiders in those days was the absolute worst thing that could’ve happened.
