If you have to ask if he is a top 5 LSU QB then the question is answered. When he left that wasn’t when debatable.
When he left he was 3rs in career Passing Yarda (in only 3 years)
2nd in single season Passing Yarda
1st (Tied) in single season passing TD
2nd in career passing TDS (again in only 3 years)
He wasn’t just arguably top 5 but arguably the best before Burrow. The only reason to argue otherwise would be his NFL career.
