so in colorado, you can get absolute shite faced hammered in a bar before 10 pm, but you cannot be served alcohol after that time. what in the hell good does that do? does the COVID only come out after 10pm?
This is actually smart and I wish Louisiana would do this. What they are doing is eliminating the club scene. Most of the club scene doesn't begin until after 10PM. The local bar I hang out at has maybe 15 people in it after work. I'm out of there by 5:00 or 5:30 when I stop by. There is no reason this bar shouldn't be allowed to be open just like restaurants. If JBE closed bars down by 9:00 or so and put the same restrictions that he has on restaurants most bars could be functioning right now at least in a smaller capacity. But you know, that would require forward thinking and all......

Same situation. My local bar has about 15-20 regulars, a lot of older retired folk. They get there at 3 or so, and most are gone for 6pm. Another group of younger(40-60) go after work and except on Fridays, are gone before 8. Let them open from noon to 10pm so some people can have an income. Plus the couple of bucks from the Video Poker machines for the owner.
