yeah it wasn't the greatest movie but you might as well have finished it.

I understand where your coming from and i nearly turned it off but I just said nahh and I kept watching it and it actually got better, I would give it 2 1/2 out of 4 not horrible but not great , say it was average

I didn't hate it, but after renting it I was glad I didn't pay to see it. It had a great concept with the different viewpoints but was too watered down with PC bullshite.

The word MUSLIM was never once uttered yet we all KNEW thats who the bad guys were. So why be all pussyish about it? Grow a sack and stop trying not to offend a religion of people who thinks its ok to strap bombs onto retarded kids and send them into grocery stores to kill people.

The ending was awful. Was the President and Dennis Quaids character going to kiss in that touching Broke Back Ambulance moment?

And how does the chief of staff, a slew of secret service agents, police officers get killed in the hotel, a secret service is a turncoat and dies and a explosion at the Presidents and other world leaders podium and ....at the end...the news cast proclaims it was the work of a LONE gunman? And that makes everything ok? People are to believe that? We just og back to our Happy Meals and Wii's and be good sheep? No explanation of how all those people die? Thats your cover up? That it was one gunman? I didnt just sit there and watch that movie to be insulted at the end, which is exactly how it felt. Not to mention Forest Whitakers acting ability was completely wasted as a fat stupid American who gets his marriage saved because he was just...there.

I thought the idea was good, as was the first half. Of course, once the mega car chase came on screen, you knew it would end terribly. Why must every half-interesting spy type action movie have a stupid fricking car chase? This is the stupidest one I've seen since Bourne Ultimatum.

They might not have said "moslem", but at least they were moslems instead of white supremacists.

I agree. I immediately knew who was involved.

I wish casting directors would one day learn to stop hiring big time actors for small parts.

We know they aren't there for a small time roll so we know they have a bigger role in the movie.

I should have read this thread before watching this movie. I am going to wipe my arse with the dvd before I return it to netflix.

i hated the first 20 minutes but really liked the rest of it. there were certainly a few ridiculous parts, but overall i thought it was worth a rent.
