For one thing, given the number of viruses that we have vaccines for which have similar survival rates, if you stack 10 viruses that average 99% survival, your odds of surviving all of them drops to 90.4%. If you skip a few, maybe not a big deal to you. If you apply the same logic to all diseases and skip the vaccines, you're just not being smart.

Also, it's a good investment. Even if a disease isn't deadly at all, the potential to lose a few days of productivity/earnings makes it worth the minimal time and cost of getting vaccinated.
