This. It’s not a safety or reliably issue, just one of feel. I’d fired plenty of Glocks and I didn’t think it was bad at all. Striker fired weapons have a peculiar spongy feel if you’re used to double action/single action handguns and I think that put a lot of people off. I did the trigger job on my 9c mainly out of curiosity and I like to tinker, not because it was terrible. Just polishing all the contact surfaces with a Worksharp made it a lot smoother, but for a self defense handgun I just want it to go bang.
