re: Compact 9MM for CC?

From your list, I'd suggest a Shield. I have a Taurus G2c and like it (despite the hate Taurus normally gets on the OB), I don't like the small thumb safety for concealed carry. I carry mine outdoors when I'm hunting. If you can throw in an extra $50, i'd suggest you consider the Kahr CW9 or CM9. I like Kahr's but not everyone likes the DAO trigger that feels more like smooth DA revolver; it not a Glock/striker type trigger. The CM9 is probably the smallest production 9mm and can be carried in most pants pockets. I've also got a Canik TP9SF that I really like as a range gun. I'm not familiar w/ the SC model, but it looks good.
