You want to take a pay cut and take shite from a guy with barely a high school diploma?

He's not wrong. If you have desirable skills I'd try and pull strings to go the officer route if you really want to join. Only way you should enlist would to get a good Rate/MOS in cryptology or intel. Oh and go reserves.
