So, is there a 20% drop in the teacher's pay since they won't be working on Fridays? I doubt very much the kids will be studiously sitting at the computer on Fridays, too.

Kids are already pushed through who can barely read, write and do any math. Going to school 2 days a week is going to help?

Lol.

The thing is, if working parents have to get daycare three days a week, doesn’t that increase their kids’ exposure to other groups of people?

If I was marketing for a private school, this would be an easy sale. You can pay daycare $8000 or you can pay a private elementary school $8000.
