re: Why do so many of you assume Covid “goes away” if Biden wins?

I think it is much more sinister than that. I don't think it goes away. It gets worse so the Democrats can push government healthcare and economic justice measures they love so much. They are too evil to let a good opportunity slip away.

It's not about "possibly raising taxes" and the old tired rules for political propaganda anymore
The evil ones out there aren't playing small ball anymore
There's no true believer zeal anymore to argue "5 year agriculture plans" or "from each according to his ability to each according to his need."
That was a video game, and it's over. Instead now it's "Work until you die, and that's either tomorrow or today bitch"
That's why you all still need to ask who the enemy is. Okay, the little 22 year old dumbasses in black jeans and black bandanas are committed to communism, and so what? They're taking order from Nazi's
This is about eugenics, mass theft, or more accurately, mass extermination
COVID is about mass surveillance and actually mass incarceration

Everyone needs to understand this.

Media will stop reporting on it.

Mostly because of crisis fatigue.

It gives government more control. Why would Dems want to get rid of it?
The govt, i.e., Silicon Valley...
they want the "new industrial revolution" of AI and this is a nuclear attempt at that
and don't forget, humans are now classified by the Nazi 1 percent as biohazzards, except for the 1 percent humans, they're of course not biohazzards

It will "Go Away" because of Biden's great leadership

eugenicists aren't communists
Marx was an idiot, and the evil we are facing now have outgrown using the BS Marx pawn piece
We think fighting useless wars and then "celebrating fallen heroes" is progress - Iraq and Afganistan decimated our military, on purpose, and the home grown tyrants at work against us right now are laughing about it. And they have the loyalty of NATO forces against us I guess. Something like that.

Because it would have accomplished its task, so is no longer needed. However, it may be hard for mayors, governors, and other politicians to relinquish their new-found control over a willing population.
It's like after the Civil War; certain areas refused to give up martial law, so the federal government had to threaten to send in the Army to restore civil law.

They have enough other ways to stifle the economy. They are all about the appearance of normalcy even when they aren't.

Either way it’s a win win situation for them IF he wins. If it disappears Biden is the big hero and single handily eradicated the virus.

The media will not report it as they are now. It may not go away but the news will be more positive if they get in.

Lets them pick economic winners and losers, force through new mandates, possibly raise taxes, gives Biden/Abrams a nice excuse to blame poor economic performance on for eight years, etc
Because if they have control they don’t need a virus to do all those things.

The virus will still be here following the same path, but the MSM will have their dancing chickens clucking to a different tune.

we'll see some kind of garbage like "new research indicates that covid is no worse that seasonal flu and an audit of case records reveal over-counting of actual cases in the interest of public safety". And when many of us scream "we've been telling you that all along"... it will never make the light of day.
You don't need to wait for 'new research'. Just ignore the media, and go directly to the source, and learn how to read data.

As of July 10,
120,350 deaths involving Covid

The difference: deaths as a result of Influenza and/or pneumonia
We are on pace, in 2020, to have fewer overall deaths in the US than we did in 2019.

It’s not going away. This is the new normal. Sports and concerts are now a thing of the past.
Stay home when possible.
Wear a mask.
Stay 6 feet apart.
Get used to it.

Dimms giveth and Dimms taketh away. Timing of all this raises too much suspicion in my view.
