Great pour!

Thx. I've just recently discovered Scotch. I think Bourbon is now for Mixed Drinks only.

Scotch is like sex...all of them are pretty good, some are very memorable but none are bad!

I have found that 12 year old is about as good as it gets...I was told in Scotland years ago that anything past 7 made almost no difference in quality it only made the whiskey rarer and therefore more expensive. I used to prefer 18 year olds but I would settle for a mature 12 year old.....but I have just about quit buying anything older than 12 because I truly can't tell much difference. When someone gifts me a bottle they usually go with 18 or older so I almost always have some 18 about the place but I rarely buy 18 or older any longer. My go to is Glenlivet 12 because it is readily available almost everywhere...McAllen isn't quite as common but it nearly is....

I drank so much bourbon as a kid I don't care for it all anymore. The only mixed drink I can tolerate is a bloody mary of a morning heading offshore....other than I just like brown water without any ice.
