My suggestion for postseason under a conference-only schedule

I say if we have a conference-only schedule, then the CFP playoff should be expanded to include 6 teams. This would allow every Power 5 conference champion to get in plus one at-large team.
However, 8 teams would be another possible option that would allow for multiple at-large teams or multiple conference champions if some conferences do away with the conference championship game and end up with co-champions within in the conference as a result.
For example, LSU and Bama could be co-champions of the SEC and both get in to the CFP.

At this point, I'd happily take it.

With only conference play I’d like to see 10 teams. The P5 champs and one at-large from each conference.
No it’s not realistic, but it’s what I’d like to see.

It's not changing from four teams

If we go to conference only, it's very likely there will not be a post season.

The election is Nov 3. By Nov 4, the virus threat will vanish. Covid will be long over in time for the post season to be played (assuming there is a season at all).

We don't need a post season. SEC champion IS the national champion.

So we’ll still be defending National Champions if no postseason happens?

Maybe the AP and Coaches Poll will declare the national champions just lien in the past. We can have another split championship with USC!!
2003 all over again

I think they should rearrange into four conferences of 16 teams each with their own conference championship. There's the final four. Any teams on the outside would complain, but then that would be from 64, so that's quite a few teams. Set them up regionally.

Take this shite to the poli board.
You think every country in the world is in on this shite to get Biden elected?

Impossible. They play head to head.
