re: Some Traffic Signs are Now Racist

There's no fricking way you read that article.

It begins as ridiculous a premise as there is - the writer's friend tells her toddler to wait for the "little white man" to cross the street.

Then he goes to do research over traffic signals, how it used to be (don't) walk, then the FHWA changed the words to symbols due the increasing global population. Then he researched the colors and the scientific research is that the "white" color of the man, as the writer states, is a lunar brightness to mimic the moon because we as humans are predisposed to being more sensitive to that color.

In the end, yes the article is nonsense, as is the entire premise. But no, he isn't saying it's racist nor is he arguing to change the color.
