Nope. You don’t.

They are a publicly traded company that operates in the private sector. But they are not “private”. They do not enjoy the anonymity of private corporations that operates in the private sector.

The original post Replied to is “do you support the Government regulating “private” companies like Facebook.

They already do. Much more so than private companies. The SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley for example.

Managerial accountability. The ability of the Fed Gov to remove executives. Indirect ability to limit managerial pay. Strict limits to loans to executives and the boards. All not required of private corps.

Edit: Oh. And by saying I didn’t need it explained.... feel perfectly fine to continue explaining it in re: the original post.
