I tested positive back on June 20th (53yo male, slightly overweight, but no other preconditions). Over the next week, I had relatively mild symptoms, mostly just shortness of breath and what I can best describe as a reaction cough when I tried to breath deep. Even so, it isn't something you want to experience. My lungs have improved a lot, but I still feel the effects.

I am now considered recovered by the CDC Symptoms Protocol, having over 10 days since my positive test and no fever for more than 3 days (I only had fever for less than a day). I did take a test on Monday to see if I would turn up negative. I am awaiting those results now.

Since I was already sick, and I don't have a house where I can be quarantined in a separate space like a basement, my wife and 20yo son have been with me throughout all of this. They have not experienced symptoms and they tested negative 12 days after the beginning of my symptoms.

There is a lot of stuff out there that is flat out wrong.
